Ben Keiser

Ben Keiser is a guitar player currently residing in Savannah, Georgia, who has toured and recorded with the Ben Keiser Band, Danielle Hicks and the Resistance, Ike Stubblefield and Voodoo Soup.

An in-demand sideman in Savannah’s eclectic music scene for years, Keiser struck out with his own trio in early 2015 and has been performing nonstop in the Southeast music-circuit while still maintaining a career as an in-demand session guitarist; recording with 7-time Grammy winner Jim Scott and his all-star band at Plyrz Studio in Spring 2017.

Ben also holds weekly residencies with his trio at Bay Street Blues and Boomy’s in downtown Savannah.

Inspired by the tones of Jeff Beck, The Derek Trucks Band, Robben Ford and Herbie Hancock, the Ben Keiser Band plays an uptempo mix of R&B, southern soul and funk.

At 29, Keiser has already recorded/performed with popular recording artists such as Neal Casal (Hard Working Americans, The Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Ryan Adams), John Ginty (Santana, Founding Member of Robert Randolph and the Family Band), Chris Joyner (Heart, Amos Lee) as well as local Savannah acts the Danielle Hicks Band, Voodoo Soup, and Chuck Courtney.

Aside from performing and recording, Keiser also gives private lessons and has written the curriculum for multiple youth music camps in Savannah.
