Lyn Avenue

Driven by rich vocals, electrified leads, and boot stomping rhythms, Lyn Avenue is a burning ember of iconic country music. Comprised of songwriters CC Witt and Patrick Ellington, their writing style is rooted in sharp lyricism and memorable melodies, organically blending elements of Americana, Folk and Classic Country. There is always a story to be told with Lyn Avenue and you can guarantee that you’ll be wanting to sing along. Both born and raised in Savannah, GA, the duo often draws lyrical inspiration from their colorful, and sometimes quirky, southern background.

Their unique blend of styles has brought them much acclaim including being nominated three consecutive years for Best Country Band by both the GA Music Awards and the Georgia Country Awards. Lyn Avenue has received airplay on several regional radio stations including BOB 106.9 | Q105.3 | Z.102 FM | WIXV 95.5 | Q105.3 | WRUU-Savannah | TEDx | WTOC Mid Morning Live | WHHI-TV Bluffton – Talk of the Town | Low Country Radio | Speyre TV and SCAD Radio, as well as added to regular playlists at Independent Music Promotions (IMP) reaching into over fourteen countries. Such acclaim has facilitated Lyn Avenue opening for major artists such as Jerrod Neimann, Parmalee, Easton Corbin, Lonestar, Chris Janson, Adam Sanders and others.

Lyn Avenue’s latest release, “Never Been to Nashville – EP” features six songs, including their single “Kentucky Bourbon”, a clever boot-stomping drinking anthem that according to A&R Factory, is an “authentically country song.” With over 40,000 views on Social Media (and growing), the single is generating a buzz on the internet and beyond. Never Been to Nashville was recorded, mixed and mastered at Dollhouse Studios in Savannah, GA. Produced by Peter Mavrogeorgis and Lyn Avenue, the EP released February 9, 2018. According to South Magazine, “the six old-fashioned original tunes on ‘Never Been to Nashville’ stand as fresh-yet-reverent slices of the type of radio-friendly, melody driven C&W that came to prominence in the mid 1950’s through the 1960’s. It’s easy to imagine fans of classic Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, and Charlie Pride tracks getting a kick out of this young duo’s take on that bittersweet-yet-danceable genre.”
