Nestled within the vibrant streets of Savannah lies a community teeming with exceptional guitarists. From soul-stirring blues to jaw-dropping rock solos, these virtuosos leave audiences spellbound and hungry for more on a nightly basis. Join us as we showcase 10 awesome Savannah guitarists.

NOTE: Guitarists are listed in no particular order.

Eric Culberson

Blues

Eric Culberson, a Savannah blues icon, possesses an incredible singing voice and masterful guitar skills. With a humorous personality and genuine authenticity, he’s the real deal in the world of blues, captivating audiences with his music and charm.

Culberson performs at Mcdonough’s Restaurant & Lounge in downtown Savannah every Wednesday from 9 pm to 1 am.

Ben Keiser

Funk, Rock, Blues

Ben Keiser is a versatile musician who transcends genres, and is also known for his unique singing voice. He often plays with his eyes closed, immersing himself in the music, and his masterful guitar skills add a mesmerizing touch to his performances.

Keiser performs with singer Danielle Hicks at Moon River Brewing Company in downtown Savannah every Thursday from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Hitman

Blues

Hitman unleashes lightning-fast guitar riffs and solos with a no-nonsense attitude. Behind his serious musical prowess, he always wears a big smile and fills the stage with infectious laughter, adding a unique charm to his bluesy performances.

Hitman performs at Two Cracked Eggs on River Street in downtown Savannah every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm.

Ray Tomasino

Southern Rock

Ray Tomasino, the seasoned singer and guitarist of Southern-rock powerhouse High Velocity, is known for his distinctive style – dark attire with bold prints. His performances strike an nice balance between scorching guitar riffs and soulful singing.

Tomasino performs at Nickie’s 1971 on Tybee Island every Monday and Wednesday from 7 pm to 11 pm.

Anders Thomsen

Country, Honky-Tonk

Anders Thomsen, a Honky-Tonk sensation, is a true showman in his flashy, shiny country-western shirts and a signature cowboy hat. With masterful, lightning-fast guitar skills and a smooth, resonant voice, he’s a must-see act in the world of Savannah country music.

Jake Menendez

Menendez performs with the Earthtonez at the Tree House in City Market in downtown Savannah every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7 pm to 11 pm.

James Lee Smith

      Robert, it’s not a “top 10” list … it’s just a lost of 10 great guitarists. Those guys you mentioned are amazing and will probably be on the second list in the future. I was limited this time around to how many good photos and video footage I had to use. Be on the lookout for the second list coming soon, and thanks for commenting!
