Ray Lundy is best known for leading one of Savannah’s best known blues bands, Bottles and Cans. Therefore, he felt right at home leading off most of the Jam’s songs, but also encouraged the other musicians to shine at the right opportunity. Kyle Yardley, front man for the Kyle Yardley Blues Band, took full advantage and blew us away on harp. Joe Nelson, a master on the mandolin, had a nice solo on the first song. Tim Warren, of the duo Clouds and Satellites, was content to let the others shine as he kept the rhythm going, and Adam Nye added some nice improvisational solos.
